New Work at Paris-Photo

I'm excited to announce that my work will be once again exhibited at Paris-Photo. New work, including from St. Petersburg, will be on display at the booth (J20) of New York's Bonni Benrubi Gallery. Paris-Photo is the most important annual event in the photography world, and this year's dates are November 18-21. As always, the fair takes place at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.

Jet Airliner Exhibition in Austria

Last weekend, my first major solo-exhibition in Austria opened. There are more than fifteen oversized prints from the popular Jet Airliner series on show. Solo-Exhibition in Los Angeles

Elsewhere, more than 6,000 miles to the west, the Stephen Cohen Gallery is currently a showing a nice set of new work, including from St. Petersburg, Rio de Janeiro, Venice, Malaysia, China, California as well as from the Jet Airliner series. The show opened about three weeks ago, and runs thru December 30. It is my third solo-show with the gallery. AIPAD Photography Show

Last month, I attended the AIPAD Photography Show New York (March 17-21). It's the largest and most important photography art fair in the USA. The Bonni Benrubi Gallery exhibited a 40"x40" (100x100cm) print of one of my most popular photographs: "Private Property"

New Work: St. Petersburg

A brand-new portfolio is now online - featuring 36 photographs from the Russian city of St Petersburg and it's surroundings - taken during the intense 2009-10 winter. Russia known for it's cold winters, hasn't seen such a brutal winter itself for decades, with record-breaking snowfall and temperatures below -25°C in St Petersburg. According to media reports, St Petersburg hasn't seen that much snow in the past 130 years. This series was planned for several years, but due to the lack of snow in the past years, I had to postpone it several times. The results are overwhelming, and I think it is one of my best and for me one of the most important portfolios I have created. Solo-Exhibitions in Paris and Switzerland

Two solo-exhibitions opened in early April - both will run thru end of May and feature a wide selection of my work. Prints in various sizes are on display. The exhibition in Paris (at Acte 2 Galerie) is my first solo-show in France, and it is also one of my largest exhibitions I had so far. The gallery is very close to the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. The exhibition in Switzerland (at AD-Galerie) has fewer prints, although it stretches over three floors and is only minutes from the scenic Lake Geneva.

Unleashed 3 + Iceland

I'm pleased to announce the production of the second edition of the "Iceland" book and my newest monograph "Unleashed 3" is completed. Both books have left the factory this week and are currently en-route from Hong Kong to Hamburg. They are scheduled to arrive here in Austria by mid-March, when we will start shipping orders.
