Solo Exhibition in Los Angeles

I'm very pleased to announce my second solo exhibition in Los Angeles. A wide selection of my Asia and Hawaii work is currently exhibited at the famed Stephen Cohen Gallery, on Beverly Boulevard, in West Hollywood. The show kicked-off on October 30, and runs thru December 31.

Solo Exhibition in Brussels

I'm pleased to confirm that my solo-exhibition in Brussels is scheduled to kick-off in the evening of Thursday, September 11th, 2008. The Young Gallery, one of the leading photography galleries in Europe, will have at least 35 large (100x100cm) prints on show, making it my largest exhibition so far. New Work from Hawaii - Now Online!

It was relatively quiet along the shores of the Big Island in Hawaii for quiet some time. But since early March of this year, lava from the Kilauea Volcano flows down again to the coastal plains - which produces new land for the island - and makes the Big Island even bigger. Now when the red lava meets the Pacific Ocean, giant steam plumes rise high in the sky - this makes it so magnificent and absolutely unique to Hawaii. I photographed the phenomenon from land, water and air. Beside the lava flows, there's currently the top-most crater of Kilauea Volcano smoking. About 2 months ago, the Halemaumau Crater saw it's first explosive eruption since 1924. A white plume currently issues from the vent - and I was lucky enough to get some shots.
